Rawas (Indian Salmon) <br /> <br />For marination:- <br />1 tsp. Salt <br />1 tsp. Turmeric powder <br />2 tsp. Oil <br />Juice of ½ a lemon <br /> <br />For Curry Masala:- <br />2-3 tbsp. Coriander seeds <br />7-8 Dry Red Chillies <br />1 cup Coconut, freshly grated <br />Water <br /> <br />For Fish Curry:- <br />5-6 tbsp. Oil <br />1-2 tsp. Mustard seeds <br />Curry Leaves <br />1 tsp. Coriander Seeds <br />2 tbsp. Garlic, finely chopped <br />2 onions, finely chopped <br />Salt, to taste <br />1 tbsp. Lemon juice <br /> <br /> <br />Method:- <br />1. Marinate the fish in the marination ingredients for 10 minutes. <br />2. In a pan heat oil and shallow fry the marinated pieces of the fish. <br />3. Once the fish is fried transfer it onto a paper towel. <br />4. In a mixer/grinder, grind the curry masala ingredients to a smooth paste. <br />5. In a kadhai heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, coriander seeds, garlic and onions. Cook until the onions are soft. <br />6. Then add salt, masala paste and stir until it starts boiling. <br />7. Add water and once it boils add the fish to it. <br />8. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes. <br />9.
